A couple pics I took at Notre Dame today....

The company I work for put all the electrical, lighting, data, audio video, and security into Notre Dame's new Performing Arts building.

This is the lobby outside of the theaters.



There's a piano hall, full stage, tv studio, THX theatre, and an opera hall with a one million dollar pipe organ.

I'm trying to get access to some of the behind-the-scenes areas so I can complete our photo-portfolio on this project.

That is sweet.I say the mixing board in the one shot,what kind of system is used,amps,processers,speakers,etc...
And in the theater what was used and was there any integration equipment used,like crestron and such.Just wondering because thats what I used to do,install that kind of stuff.

I don't know all of the components, but this place is primo-top notch stuff.

The soundproofing alone is so intense that they can be using circular saws and hammers in the stage theatre and you cannot hear it in the next theatre.

The THX room is almost like a sound vacuum.... the reflections off any walls is absorbed so much that you almost can't hear your own voice when you talk. [img]eek.gif[/img]
